Tadeusz Kopeć
Member of the Senate in the Republic of Poland
Member and founder of the Parliamentary Schuman Group in Poland
Senator of the VIII, IX and X terms of office. Member of the Sejm of the 5th and 6th terms of office.
In 1986 he graduated from the Mining Faculty of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, and in 1998 he completed post-graduate studies in municipal finance management at the College of Banking and Finance in Katowice.
In 1986-93 he worked at mining enterprise in Jastrzębie-Zdrój as the deputy manager of the Works Department. In the period 1993-98 he was the president of the Mining Housing Cooperative in Cieszyn.
In the years 1998-2005 he was a councilor of the Cieszyn Poviat Council, from 1999 to 2005 he was the deputy starost of this poviat.
In the 8th term Senate, he was the secretary of the Senate. In the Senate of the 9th term of office, acting chairman of the National Economy and Innovation Committee.
In the 10th Term Senate, he is a member of the Rules, Ethics and Senatorial Affairs Committee, Chairman of the Parliamentary Schuman Group.
