Member of the European Academy of Science and Arts. Member of the Beyt Nahrin Mesopotamian Academy of Sciences and Arts (BEN-MAAS). Peter Herrmann, social philosopher with an academic background in sociology, political science, economics, and jurisprudence. Affiliated with the world of teaching and research, chasing for answering the Faustian question “what holds the world together at its core” (concrete, looking for the links between economics and jurisprudence).

His recent positions span from the Max-Planck Institute for Social Law and Social Policy, Munich (Germany) over the Faculty of Economics and Sociology, Łódź (Poland) to his current position as Research Fellow at the Human Rights Centre of the School of Law at Central South University, Changsha (PRC).
